Sweet chilli chicken Kiev

  • 4 chicken fillets
  • salt and black pepper
  • 6 tbsp Philadelphia Light with Sweet Chilli
  • 80 g plain flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 130 g dried breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil, for frying


  • Cut a little pocket into each chicken fillet, being very careful not to cut all the way through the meat. Season the fillets with salt and black pepper.
  • Stuff each of the pockets with Philadelphia with Sweet Chilli. Close by securing each with one or two cocktail sticks.
  • Tip the flour, eggs and breadcrumbs into separate shallow bowls. Coat each fillet in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs, then dip back into the egg and finally the breadcrumbs.
  • Preheat the oven to 200 °C/180 °C fan/gas mark 6.
  • Heat the oil in a large pan over a high heat. When hot, turn the heat to medium and cook the Kievs for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Transfer the Kievs to a baking tray and bake for 25 minutes. Serve immediately, making sure to warn people about the cocktail sticks!
